Si tienes suficiente tiempo, no dudes en ir a ambos lugares. Como sabes, nosotros nos mudamos a <strong>Grecia<\/strong> hace un par de a\u00f1os. Desde ese momento hemos viajado mucho por el pa\u00eds, tanto por el continente como por las islas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si bien siempre quisimos ir a <strong>Creta<\/strong>, hasta ahora no hab\u00edamos tenido tiempo. La isla es una fiesta para los sentidos y sobrepas\u00f3 nuestras altas expectativas. Lo mismo se puede decir de Chania y Heraklion. Chania es famosa en toda Grecia por su inigualable arquitectura. Si bien en Heraklion hay varias joyas arquitect\u00f3nicas, palidece en comparaci\u00f3n con Chania.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por otro lado, se podr\u00eda decir que Heraklion es m\u00e1s aut\u00e9ntica. Ambas tienen una poblaci\u00f3n local activa, pero hay m\u00e1s turistas en Chania. Toma nota que ambas ciudades quedan sobre la costa norte de Creta: Chania al oeste y Heraklion al este. Por ello, puedes visitar Herakion o Chania, desde una o la otra en el mismo d\u00eda. Varios buses p\u00fablicos conectan las ciudades en 3 horas. Dicho esto, si tienes que decidir entre Heraklion o Chania, te recomendamos fuertemente que vayas a Chania. <a href=\"https:\/\/inlovewithgreece.com\/es\/lugares-imprescindibles-que-ver-en-la-ciudad-de-chania\/\"><strong>Nada se compara a Chania<\/strong><\/a>. La mezcla de arquitectura otomana, vriega y veneciana es \u00fanica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De igual modo, no se puede creer la cantidad y calidad de los restaurantes que hay en la ciudad. Vas a viajar en el tiempo mientras disfrutas de hoteles y restaurantes de primera. Sin embargo, anda a Heraklion si lo tuyo es la arqueolog\u00eda. Al aproximarte a la ciudad, ves dos secciones delimitadas. La moderna, sobre la colina, y la antigua sobre la costa. La estaci\u00f3n de buses queda en el centro, al lado de la Ciudad Vieja, as\u00ed que la magia empieza tan pronto como te bajas del bus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La ciudad es maravillosa, s\u00faper limpia, y tiene un ambiente relajado. Hay plantas por todas las calles. Todo est\u00e1 en perfecto estado y\u00a0 te sientes seguro al caminar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es bastante f\u00e1cil no perderse ya que el puerto y la fortaleza son dos excelentes puntos de orientaci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, perderte por las calles sin prisas es una idea excelente. Toma nota que no te puedes ba\u00f1ar en el centro del casco antiguo. En la punta del puerto ver\u00e1s el <strong>Faro de Chania<\/strong> construido por los venecianos en el siglo 16 pero reconstruido por los egipcios en los 1820.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al otro lado del puerto est\u00e1 el <strong>Museo de Arqueolog\u00eda<\/strong> y la <strong>Fortaleza Veneciana<\/strong>, bajo el Baluarte de Salvatore. A una calle del puerto sobre la plaza principal se levanta la <strong>Catedral Ortodoxa<\/strong>. Para llegar ah\u00ed, es posible caminar por el puerto y dar la vuelta donde est\u00e1 la fortaleza y la marina. En esta marina est\u00e1n los mejores atardeceres de Chania.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Varios restaurantes, cafeter\u00edas y hoteles se levantan sobre la playa. Todos ofrecen sombrillas y tumbonas. Siguiendo al norte est\u00e1n las playas de <strong>Hrisi Akti<\/strong> y <strong>Agii Apostoli<\/strong>. Como no son urbanas hay menos gente. Chania es la \u00fanica ciudad en la regi\u00f3n. Una vez que dejas el centro urbano, estas en plena naturaleza.
