Fui con mis padres hace un par de a\u00f1os. Como la arquitectura, el ambiente, la historia y las playas de la ciudad me impresionaron tanto, volv\u00ed con mi esposo.<\/p>\n<p>Rethymno est\u00e1 m\u00e1s o menos en el centro de Creta, en su costa norte. Mucho m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a que <a href=\"https:\/\/inlovewithgreece.com\/es\/chania-o-heraklion-en-creta-cual-deberias-visitar\/\"><strong>Heraklion o Chania<\/strong><\/a>, tiene un casco antiguo con edificios hist\u00f3ricos soberbios y una ciudad nueva construida a lo largo de una larga playa.<\/p>\n<p>He preparado este post para animarte a visitar Rethymno. Para m\u00ed, es una de <a href=\"https:\/\/inlovewithgreece.com\/es\/bonitas-ciudades-pequenas-de-grecia-que-debes-visitar\/\"><strong>las ciudades peque\u00f1as m\u00e1s bonitas de Hoy en d\u00eda, la fuente es el lugar donde los locales se re\u00fanen para socializar. El ambiente es animado y muy griego.<\/p>\n<p>La fuente se encuentra en el centro del casco antiguo veneciano, en una peque\u00f1a plaza. Si te fijas bien, ver\u00e1s leones venecianos y capiteles corintios. Te recomiendo el helado de <strong>Meli<\/strong>, en la esquina de la plaza.<\/p>\n<p>A la vuelta de Meli hay un lugar de yogur griego congelado riqu\u00edsimo. Para disfrutar la noche, te sugiero los c\u00f3cteles en el <strong>Hunky <\/strong><strong>Funky Bar<\/strong>. La<strong> Fortezza<\/strong> del siglo XVI es un espect\u00e1culo digno de ver.<\/p>\n<p>Puedes acceder a la enorme fortaleza a pie. Es una caminata corta y encantadora. Cr\u00e9eme, aunque hay \u00e1rboles, puede hacer demasiado calor durante el d\u00eda, as\u00ed que ve por la tarde. Adem\u00e1s, disfrutar\u00e1s de una puesta de sol espectacular.<\/p>\n<p>La fortaleza ofrece vistas \u00e9picas del mar y de la ciudad. Busca la mezquita otomana. Sin embargo, su elaborado minarete es de 1890. \u00a1El templo est\u00e1 en excelente estado y es hermoso!<\/p>\n<p>Est\u00e1 en la Plaza Mikrasiaton, la m\u00e1s grande del centro. Hoy en d\u00eda, la mezquita se usa para conciertos de m\u00fasica. Una vez asistimos a un cuarteto cl\u00e1sico y disfrutamos de una ac\u00fastica perfecta.<\/p>\n<p>No te apresures y pasa tiempo con los locales en la plaza. Busca el <strong>mural de la Candy Shop<\/strong> y la escuela secundaria otomana. Como est\u00e1 lleno de \u00e1rboles, la temperatura es mucho m\u00e1s baja que en el resto de la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, el caf\u00e9 del jard\u00edn ofrece bebidas frescas y comida deliciosa bajo los \u00e1rboles. Si tienes ni\u00f1os, van a divertirse en el parque infantil mientras t\u00fa admiras plantas de todo el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>El <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winesofcrete.gr\/en\/category\/news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Festival del Vino de Creta<\/strong><\/a> se celebra aqu\u00ed cada julio durante una semana. Puedes probar vinos de todo el pa\u00eds. Rethymno tiene dos museos fant\u00e1sticos que no te puedes perder.<\/p>\n<p>El <strong>Museo arqueol\u00f3gico<\/strong> est\u00e1 dentro de una antigua iglesia veneciana. Entra y prep\u00e1rate para deslumbrarte. A m\u00ed me dejaron at\u00f3nito los artefactos de la civilizaci\u00f3n minoica cercana.<\/p>\n<p>Un palacio veneciano bien conservado del siglo XVII alberga el <strong>Museo del pueblo<\/strong>. El edificio en s\u00ed es fascinante. Dicho esto, creo que los restaurantes que tienen vistas al <strong>Puerto veneciano<\/strong> son los mejores. Estoy hablando de la peque\u00f1a marina en la entrada oriental del casco antiguo. Se come riqu\u00edsimo y con vistas memorables.<\/p>\n<p>El <strong>Faro de Rethymno<\/strong> est\u00e1 en el extremo de la bah\u00eda. Los egipcios lo construyeron durante su breve ocupaci\u00f3n de la ciudad en 1830. Las vistas desde all\u00ed te dejar\u00e1n sin palabras.<\/p>\n<p>Mis padres y yo comimos marisco de primera en <strong>Zefyros<\/strong>, directamente en el puerto. Para c\u00f3cteles, fuimos a <strong>Nafpigio<\/strong>. La playa de arena lo tiene todo, incluyendo bares, restaurantes y hoteles.<\/p>\n<p>Como notar\u00e1s, esta parte de la ciudad es nueva. La mayor\u00eda de hoteles aqu\u00ed tienen sus propias sombrillas. Puedes alquilar una en un club de playa, comer en un restaurante con sombrillas gratuitas o usar la secci\u00f3n p\u00fablica de la playa.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00ed me gusta nadar. Por eso disfrut\u00e9 mucho de las aguas tranquilas de Rethymno. El templo barroco veneciano es espl\u00e9ndido y est\u00e1 lleno de cultura. Otro destino fant\u00e1stico es la <strong>Playa de Preveli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Queda justo enfrente de Rethymno, pero en la costa sur de Creta. El viaje pasa por el ca\u00f1\u00f3n de Kourtaliotiko, un para\u00edso natural con manantiales, cuevas y enormes bloques de piedra.<\/p>\n<p>La Playa de Preveli y su impresionante bosque de palmeras se encuentran en la desembocadura del r\u00edo Kourtaliotis. El <strong>Monasterio de Preveli<\/strong> fue clave durante la Guerra de independencia griega. Puedes caminar desde all\u00ed hasta la playa.
