El clima suele ser agradable, hay muchas cosas para ver y hacer, y algunas de las playas m\u00e1s bonitas de Grecia est\u00e1n a s\u00f3lo un paso.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque nunca hay demasiados turistas, durante los meses m\u00e1s c\u00e1lidos tendr\u00edas que hacer cola en muchos lugares de inter\u00e9s. En invierno la ciudad se vuelve verdaderamente local.<\/p>\n<p>Nosotros visitamos Tesal\u00f3nica en invierno y nos encant\u00f3. Hab\u00eda muy pocos turistas, los precios eran una ganga y el clima bastante bueno. \u00a1Incluso fuimos a <a href=\"https:\/\/inlovewithgreece.com\/es\/que-ver-y-hacer-en-tesalonica-en-3-dias-el-itinerario-perfecto\/\"><strong>3 d\u00edas en Tesal\u00f3nica<\/strong><\/a>, es <strong>pasear por la costa<\/strong>. El clima probablemente ser\u00e1 templado, ideal para una caminata agradable.<\/p>\n<p>Comienza en la plaza principal de la ciudad, Arist\u00f3teles. Tesal\u00f3nica fue casi completamente destruida por el gran incendio de 1917, y esta plaza fue dise\u00f1ada para representar la nueva y moderna Grecia.<\/p>\n<p>Contin\u00faa por el paseo mar\u00edtimo hasta que llegues a la Torre Blanca. Esta elegante estructura sirvi\u00f3 como lugar de tortura y ejecuciones durante la \u00e9poca otomana. El emperador romano Galerio los mand\u00f3 construir como parte de su complejo imperial en el siglo IV d.C.<\/p>\n<p>El Arco de Galerio fue erigido para exhibir el poder del emperador. Est\u00e1 adornado con relieves de m\u00e1rmol que representan su victoria sobre Nars\u00e9s, emperador de la antigua Persia.<\/p>\n<p>La Rotonda originalmente fue una estructura circular con un \u00f3culo. Ha servido como mausoleo, iglesia, mezquita y nuevamente iglesia. Cuatro mercados hist\u00f3ricos merecen una visita. Todos est\u00e1n en el centro de la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kapani Market<\/strong>, al oeste de la calle Arist\u00f3teles, es el m\u00e1s antiguo de la ciudad y data de la \u00e9poca otomana. Justo al norte est\u00e1 el <strong>Modiano Market<\/strong>, hist\u00f3rico mercado jud\u00edo del siglo XX.<\/p>\n<p>Al otro lado de Arist\u00f3teles se encuentra el peque\u00f1o <strong>Athonos Market<\/strong>. Aqu\u00ed encontrar\u00e1s algunos de los mejores puestos de comida de la ciudad. Si eres aventurero, busca el escondido <strong>Bit Bazaar<\/strong>. En 1988, 11 iglesias, dos monasterios, un ba\u00f1o p\u00fablico y las murallas de la ciudad fueron declarados Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO.<\/p>\n<p>Todas las estructuras est\u00e1n a poca distancia a pie, pero si tienes poco tiempo, puedes visitar la Rotonda y otras cuatro iglesias en menos de una hora.<\/p>\n<p>La iglesia m\u00e1s importante de la ciudad, Hagia Sophia (Santa Sof\u00eda), est\u00e1 aqu\u00ed. Ha sido catedral cat\u00f3lica, mezquita y hoy es iglesia ortodoxa. Aunque no es tan extenso o diverso como el de <a href=\"https:\/\/inlovewithgreece.com\/es\/explorando-el-arte-urbano-en-atenas-guia-completa\/\"><strong>Atenas<\/strong><\/a>, vale la pena conocerlo.<\/p>\n<p>Algunas obras fueron creadas durante el Face Art Public Mural Project de 2011. Otras son de artistas callejeros internacionales reconocidos como BLU, DALeast y Faith47.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestros dos murales favoritos son grandes piezas verticales. Uno, de Live2 &amp; Apset, est\u00e1 junto a la Rotonda. La mayor\u00eda son de finales del siglo XIX.<\/p>\n<p>Comienza en la esquina de Vasilissis Olgas con Archeologikou Mousiou. Puedes ir caminando desde el centro o tomar el nuevo metro hasta la estaci\u00f3n Efklidis.<\/p>\n<p>Las dos primeras villas que ver\u00e1s son la Villa Levi Modiano y la Villa Salem.
