The Best Greek Souvenirs You Can Buy Online
Everyone that visits Greece wants to get a token to remember their trip or to give a loved one. Some people buy things of their favorite countries, travel or not. We, of course, are guilty as charged. Our house is full of things from all over the world!
Now, to be honest: a lot of the things we buy and give, we buy online. Since we travel with a small carry on, we don’t have much space. The following are our top purchases:
Ancient Greek Remedy
I use this product myself and love it! I have dry skin and scalp and have a hard time finding products that I can absorb and don’t feel grassy. This family owned company uses only 100% cold press oils, no water no chemicals, no allergies! And a lovely natural scent.
Try one and you will want the whole range of products. If you are looking for a sophisticated gift, check out the set.

Santorini Puzzle
Santorini is probably Greece’s most famous island. Who hasn’t seen pictures of its traditional white houses and blue domes?
This puzzle reproduces Santorini’s most iconic image. If you visit the island during summer, you’ll see people queuing to take the photo. It’s by Eurographics, one of the leading puzzle companies in the world. Since it has several shades of white and blue, it is challenging to assemble, but not impossible! We did over a bottle of wine and had a great time.

Ceramic Drink Coasters
A close friend of ours collects coasters. We always bought some for him when traveling. One day our gift got tossed away. The airport security guy said they could be dangerous. Really?
Since then, we buy ceramic coasters online. No hassle and no money thrown away. The Greek blue and white design is classy. They are heavy so they won’t fly out and they do absorb the water. The metal container looks wonderful.

Greek Playing Cards
We bought this set of cards to give an aunt of mine. Since she plays cards with her friends almost daily, she’s always looking for new games. She loved this one.
You can play any of the traditional games that use 52 cards, such as bridge, black jack, and hearts. What makes it different is the Greek phrases stamped on them. So now you don’t have an excuse to say “it’s all Greek to me!”

Wooden Greek Alphabet
We bought this set for a nephew that had just gotten into college. We were sure he would use it in his fraternity, and so he did!
The set includes 5 sets of all of the 24 Greek letters, 120 in total. It’s the complete alphabet. It’s made of poplar ply wood cut with a laser, so it’s elegant and safe. You can use it for all sorts of crafts.

Greek Wine Glass Charms
Greeks have been producing top quality wine for millennia. We have to be honest, we don’t drink much wine, but our friends do and always bring great wine when visiting. We were looking for a present to thank them for teaching us about local spirits when we found this handmade glass charms.
They loved our unique gift! It’s a set of 6 pieces, each different and very Greek.

Handbag
We travel with a small carry-on and a canvas bag inside that hardly occupies any space. Once on our destination, we unroll the bag and walk about. This one is big enough to carry our things, but not too big and bulky. It’s water resistant and sturdy.
Besides, we love the design because, yes, Greece is always a good idea!

Refrigerator Magnet
If you travel you buy magnets. That simple. They are the go-to present for every avid traveler. In fact, we always buy magnets for our friend Carol. Due to mobility issues, she can’t travel. She’s got her entire fridge covered with our presents!
Now, you don’t have to buy a cheesy magnet. This one is elegant and top quality. It has a vintage picture of the Acropolis in Athens under the moon. They also have cool magnets from Mykonos and Santorini.

Greek Flag T Shirt
Before moving to Athens I had a T-shirt that read Greece. Ignorant me! I didn’t know Greece in Greek is Elada! Since then, I buy this shirt to give to friends. It reads as it should read.
As you will see, it’s easy to choose the right size. Since it’s a bit tapered, it doesn’t look boxy. It’s prewashed so it barely shrinks.

Evil Eye Necklace
The ancient Greeks used all types of amulets to protect themselves from the evil eye. In fact, Plutarch has a whole chapter dedicated to it in his Symposium. Today, you can see the blue and white design all across Greece. Locals wear them. You will see them in doors too.
This one is made in 925 sterling silver and crystals. It’s allergy free and will last a lifetime.
